The Beautiful Branson Belle Cruise

The Beautiful Branson Belle CruiseThe Beautiful Branson Belle Cruise by David Bryce

The lakes and Ozarks are so serene in the south that there are few better ways to enjoy them than going on the Branson Belle cruise. They have morning, afternoon and night tours available for your convenience, all loaded with food and entertainment mixed with spectacular views on an old fashioned style riverboat. All tours last two hours.

If you are wanting to walk the decks of the boat and enjoy your views, a morning or afternoon cruise will be your best choice. Going in the evening will limit what you see, but you will still have the shows for entertainment.

When deciding on where to eat as you watch your show, the Belle gives you a few choices. Regular General Admission is just that. Floor and side balcony tickets give you a great view of the shows while you eat. The Captain’s Row includes a special seating area and stage facing balconies. One perk to selecting this choice is that you are offered a choice of meals that are available instead of only having the one. It runs about $20 more than general admission, but you get the better view of the stage and an entree selection. Then, there is the Paddle Wheel Club Room. Here, you also dine separately, same as the Captain’s Row, and then watch the show so that you can enjoy it. This one costs the same as the Captain’s Row, you just get to enjoy the exclusivity of it all. If you choose either the Captain’s Row or the Paddle Wheel Club, your cruise will start one hour before everyone else’s. The tables are set up for four each, so if you come as a party of two, you may be seated with another couple.

The menu is one that most people will enjoy, although they will do their best to curtail to any diet specifications as long as they are aware of your needs. But the main meal is one of roast beef, for general admission. Just because you aren’t eating in private, doesn’t mean you are getting less quality food! The other two choices offer a selection of steaks with chicken as well. You really shouldn’t be hungry after this excursion! All meals are several courses with salad and bread and don’t forget dessert! Everything is included in your ticket cost except for a gratuity, which the wait staff works very hard for. So if you are happy with their service, please let them know!

The mix of entertainment that you get is spectacular. Even if it isn’t something you would just go do at home, exposing yourself to the culture of the south is pretty amazing. There are scores of talent in the area, from musicians to magicians. It is an experience you will be talking about for days after your visit.

So here is just another reason that you can make your Branson vacation the best one yet. Get out there and experience life in the south, especially when you aren’t from the south. It can be a very enlightening time for you!
